New Work for

Florence Wint's new figurative works combine collage and painting in large art works that are both narrative and whimsical and reflects the joy of creating.

"I like to use the African material because it is 100% cotton. I like the bright colors against the black background. The fabric has bold patterns which I cut to create my shapes, as well as strong pictorial elements that help to suggest a narrative. I am always telling stories."
